Environments Filter Group¶
The Environments filter group in the Filter Pane consists of one checkbox list. Each of list items represents one Tableau environment, connected to your MMTE Server:
When you choose one or more environments, it limits the BI data shown in the Content Area to objects stored in those environments only.
Tip
To switch to another MMTE Server, use the Connection Manager. You can connect to only one server at a time, but the Connection Manager caches your last connections, and you can switch between them. The filter dynamically updates to show enabled environments.
Tip
To add another environment to your BI landscape, ask your system administrator, or consult Connecting MMTE to your Tableau Software. You can connect any number of environments at a time.
There is an additional item (All) in the list of environments. Use it to toggle between all environments being selected and all environments being unselected.
If all environments are selected, or none of them, then the Environments filter is not applied, and it does not limit the data displayed.
