Domains Filter Group¶
The Domains filter group in the Filter Pane consists of a checkbox list and a search tool. Each value represents a domain found on your BI landscape:
The filter group list contains all domains found in your BI landscape. DNS domains indicate user accounts/groups from Active Directory, for example: corp.mycompany.com. The item local filters accounts/groups created in Tableau directly.
With this filter, you can limit the displayed BI data to user accounts/groups from particular directory.
Start typing a domain you are looking for in the search control, and the list will be limited to domains that contain your input.
