Publications

The Publications module is a read-only workbench for BusinessObjects publications: how each one is built, who receives what, how personalization resolves, whether runs delivered, and what is broken.

What it answers

  • How many publications exist, and which are broken or will deliver the wrong data?
  • What does a given person receive, and through which recipient list or group?
  • Which recipients are excluded, have no e-mail address, or sit outside the company?
  • Which personalization rules or BO Profiles are broken?
  • Did the last runs deliver, and why did recipients fail?
  • Where does each publication deliver its output?

Open it

In the BusinessObjects console, select Publications. The module has five tabs: Overview, Recipients, Personalization, Runs & Delivery and Listings.
