Servers¶
The Servers tab shows the servers and server groups of each BusinessObjects environment with live state and metrics, and lets you start, stop, enable or disable servers.

How it works¶
The MetaMiner Server collects server metrics from each environment and pushes updates to connected clients, so the tab refreshes without F5. The tooltip on the update time reads "The server status has been refreshed every 5 minutes automatically". Server commands are sent to the BI platform by the MetaMiner Server with the environment's service account.

Columns¶

| Enabled | Whether the server is enabled |
| Alerts | Whether server availability alerts are set for the server, and whether they are enabled |

Toolbar and filters¶

| Flat list | Hide server groups and show all servers as a flat list. The choice is remembered. |
| Real-time monitoring | Opens the Web Intelligence real-time monitor (see below) |
| Export | Export the shown rows to CSV or Excel; see Toolbar and Export |
The filter pane offers Server State, Server Enablement (Show enabled only, Show disabled only), Server Groups (Hide empty groups, Show empty groups only, Show groups only), Server Friendly Name and Server Type.

Warning
Server commands act on the production BI platform immediately. Stopping or disabling a server interrupts the users and jobs it serves.

Real-time monitoring of Web Intelligence servers¶
Real-time monitoring opens Real-Time Monitoring (Webi Servers), a live list of Web Intelligence activities across the loaded environments.
