Where the client keeps its files

On Windows the client stores per-user files under %APPDATA%\MetaMiner\.

Path Content
config\.metaMinerPreferences Preferences, last server host and port, reconnect on startup
config\.metaMinerHistory Window layout, server history, last loaded environments, saved MetaMiner credentials (encrypted)
auth\pbi-token-cache.bin Saved Microsoft sign-ins from browser sign-in, encrypted with Windows for your Windows account; never passwords
QueryHistory\ Meta Query SQL history, per server and user
logs\client.log Client log. Open it with File > Open MetaMiner Log.

File > Forget Credentials... removes the saved MetaMiner user name and password. It does not remove saved Microsoft sign-ins. To remove those, right-click the environment list in the Connection Manager and choose Sign out of all Power BI environments, or click Sign out in the Power BI sign-in dialog.

Client startup options that your administrator sets, such as Meta Query result size limits, are listed in Meta Query.
