The Server Friendly Name filter group in the Filter Pane consists of one checkbox list filter. This list consists of names of all SAP BusinessObjects servers found across your connected environments, dynamically combined together:

Friendly Name is the server easily readable name that is assigned to it upon its creation. It does not change even when the Server Name property (SI_NAME) changes (that can be performed via SAP CMC or MetaMiner Client).

When you choose one or more friendly names, it limits the BI data shown in the Content Area to the selected servers only.

There is an additional item (All) in the list of all servers. Use it to toggle between all server being selected and all servers being unselected.

If all servers are selected, or none of them, then the Server Friendly Name filter is not applied, and it does not limit the data displayed.
