View Impacted Objects (Universe)
The View Impacted Objects command in Impact Analysis - Universe provides the key capability of this application tab. With it, you can see how changes made to some universe object(s) in your BI landscape affects any other object(s).
To view impacted universe objects:
| 1. | In the Content Area, select a universe object or objects. |
Tip
You can choose universes, universe classes, and/or universe objects, in any order and combination.
Warning
You should not choose environments and folders.
| 2. | Choose View Impacted Objects from the context menu. The Impacted Universe Objects dialog window opens: |
| 3. | View the object(s) listed. The following properties are displayed for each impacted object: |

SAP BusinessObjects environment where the selected object is stored. |
Object name |
The object display name. |
Universe |
The universe where this object relates. |
Class |
The class name to which this object belongs. |
Data Provider |
The data provider name. |
Folder |
Folder structure in your BI assets tree. |
Document |
The document name. |
Kind |
Document Type (Kind) |
Last Action By |
Date and time. |
Last Action On |
The user account of the person who last made some action with an object. |
| 4. | If needed, export the results directly to Excel or CSV by clicking the CSV icon. |
| 5. | Filter results by using the Quick Search Control. |
| 6. | Click Close. |
