The Impact Analysis - DB tab incorporates the following filter groups in its Filter Pane:

Environments
Connections
Schemas
Tables
Columns

In this section we discuss Filter Groups that are used in the Impact Analysis - DB tab.

Using Filters in the Impact Analysis - DB tab

Just as you would focus on a specific product or category when online shopping, similarly, MetaMiner Client with these filter groups provides the ability to perform faceted search - or filtering data based on database connection, schema, table(s), or columns(s).

light_on Tip
In this tab all Filter Groups depend on one another from top to bottom. Filters are dynamic here. When you start with a top filter group, the rest of filter groups are updated automatically to match your selection in the top filter group(s). Also, if any new data appears in your system, you will see the related items in the Filter Pane after Reloading.
If you go in the opposite direction, all your changes you make at the bottom filter groups will be dismissed when you switch to top filters.

Normally, you first select your environment (MetaMiner Client narrows the available database objects), then select your connection(s), then schema(s), then table(s), and finally column(s):
