Compare with Each Other
The Compare with Each Other command is a link between the CMS Explorer and Visual Diff application tabs.
It starts comparison of two selected WebI documents in Visual Diff.
With it, you do not need to search for the target documents in your huge BI data tree again in Visual Diff to compare those documents.
To run this command, do the following:
| 1. | Select two documents in your BI data tree in CMS Explorer. |
Warning
You cannot select folders, other containers, and instances. You can select only two documents that both have a Kind Webi.
| 2. | To compare metadata of those documents, choose Compare with Each Other - Compare Structure... from the context menu. Visual Diff will run in the Structure Mode, with the Content Mode switched off. |
To compare content of those documents, choose Compare with Each Other - Compare Data... from the context menu. Visual Diff will run in the Content Mode.
