MetaMiner Server Settings

MetaMiner Server Settings is an area of the MetaMiner Administrator main window UI.

MetaMiner Server communicates to the MetaMiner Client over the TCP/IP port configured in the MetaMiner Server Settings area under Server Port:

To configure server settings, do the following:

1.	In MetaMiner Administrator, navigate to the MetaMiner Server Settings area.

2.	In the Server Port, specify the TCP/IP port where MetaMiner Server will listen to the requests from MetaMiner Client applications.

Warning
We recommend configuring this port to 49714. Regardless of what port you use, it must be opened within your firewall to allow connecting clients to access the MetaMiner Server. If this port is not opened, then MetaMiner Client will not work!

3.	Click Test and save. If your settings are correct, you will see a Valid green check next to the section.

Tip
Your users should specify exactly the same port number in MetaMiner Client, see File - Connection Manager.
