In some situations it is useful to modify object descriptions in a batch mode - such as when they belong to the same category of department of reports.

To run this command, select a document in your BI data tree in CMS Explorer and choose Modify - Modify Description from the context menu, or click Modify Description in the Properties dialog window. The Modify Description dialog window opens:

Then, enter the new description and click OK.
