Destination Details

Destinations represent the entry point to metadata that describes how a scheduled instance was "outputted" to the SAP BusinessObjects end-users.  There are 5 fundamental destination types  (see Destination Type, below) to which a report can be destined.  There are additional sub-classes that describe specific elements of the destination that will be the subject of the next sections.  When querying this information, you should see data similar to what is shown below:

Universe Class

Object Name

Description / Purpose

universe-documents-destinations

ID

MetaMiner-generated unique ID of all destination  for any object configured to have its scheduled instance(s) sent to one.

Document ID

The internal ID of the corresponding object to which this destination entry belongs (Internally, this is the V_DOCUMENTS.DOCUMENTS_ID )

Destination Number

If there is more than 1 destination for the object, the destination number is displayed here.

Destination Type

Type of destination.

Possible values: EMAIL, INBOX, FTP, ENTERPRISE, DISK
