Although a nearly legacy technology, the Desktop Intelligence (also known as "Full Client") reporting client remained popular only until recently.  It's only supported in minimal form in SAP BI4.1 environments (via CMC and cannot be published/scheduled/viewed in BI Launchpad), mostly for reasons of converting them to Web Intelligence from within the same environment.

Still, reporting on this metadata is critical as it allows organizations still on XI3 to fully analyze these assets and possibly plan to move datasources, reports, etc. to more modern hosts (Webi, Crystal Reports, Lumira).

The classes in this section provide as much detail as exists for Desktop Intelligence reports.
